"message": "mac80211: Do not try to associate with an empty SSID\n\nIt looks like some programs (e.g., NM) are setting an empty SSID with\nSIOCSIWESSID in some cases. This seems to trigger mac80211 to try to\nassociate with an invalid configuration (wildcard SSID) which will\nresult in failing associations (or odd issues, potentially including\nkernel panic with some drivers) if the AP were to actually accept this\nanyway).\n\nOnly start association process if the SSID is actually set. This\nspeeds up connection with NM in number of cases and avoids sending out\nbroken association request frames.\n\nSigned-off-by: Jouni Malinen \u003cjouni.malinen@atheros.com\u003e\nSigned-off-by: John W.
