  "message": "[PATCH] softmac: complete shared key authentication\n\nThis patch finishes of the partially-complete shared key authentication\nimplementation in softmac.\n\nThe complication here is that we need to encrypt a management frame during\nthe authentication process. I don\u0027t think there are any other scenarios where\nthis would have to happen.\n\nTo get around this without causing too many headaches, we decided to just use\nsoftware encryption for this frame. The softmac config option now selects\nIEEE80211_CRYPT_WEP so that we can ensure this available.
