It allows registering BCMA drivers for\nspecified bus devices and provides them basic operations. The bus driver\nitself includes two important bus managing drivers: ChipCommon core\ndriver and PCI(c) core driver. They are early used to allow correct\ninitialization.\n\nCurrently code is limited to supporting buses on PCI(e) devices, however\nthe driver is designed to be used also on other hosts. The host\nabstraction layer is implemented and already used for PCI(e).\n\nSupport for PCI(e) hosts is working and seems to be stable (access to\n80211 core was tested successfully on a few devices). We can still\noptimize it by using some fixed windows, but this can be done later\nwithout affecting any external code. Here, elf-\u003ehdr points\nto the beginning of the ELF file in memory, sechdr points to the\nrelocation section header, section is the index of the section\nbeing relocated, and sechdrs[section].sh_offset would be the offset\nof that section, relative to the beginning of the ELF file. Adding\nelf-\u003ehdr + sechdrs[section].sh_offset gives you the address of the\nbeginning of the section, and adding r-\u003er_offset to that gives you the\naddress of the location to be relocated. You do not need to subtract\nsechdrs[section].sh_addr from that -- the result of this is an address\noutside the file, and causes the segfault when addend_386_rel tries to\ndereference it.\n\nThis bug is not observed when GNU ld is used to link the inputs. The\nobject file ubuntu/omnibook/omnibook.o is the result of an ld -r of\nseveral other files.
