      "message": "fb: add support for foreign endianness\n\nAdd support for the framebuffers with non-native endianness.  This is done via\nFBINFO_FOREIGN_ENDIAN flag that will be used by the drivers.       "message": "[PATCH] fbcon: Fix big-endian bogosity in slow_imageblit()\n\nThe monochrome-\u003ecolor expansion routine that handles bitmaps which have\n(widths % 8) !\u003d 0 (slow_imageblit) produces corrupt characters in big-endian.\nThis is caused by a bogus bit test in slow_imageblit().\n\nFix.\n\nThis patch may deserve to go to the stable tree.  The code has already been\nwell tested in little-endian machines. It manifests as extra lines of pixels that are not\ncomplete drawn.  Reversing the shift operator solves the problem, so I would\npresume that this bug would manifest only on little endian machines.
