      "message": "V4L/DVB (5978): tuner: Better tuner radio support\n\nAdd radio support for the Thomson DTT7612 tuner.\n\nThis tuner uses a different 1st intermediate frequency than the other radio\ntuners supported (a lot of NTSC radio tuners probably need this change too).\n\nAdd a new tuner-simple parameter, radio_if.  It selects the 1st IF used for\nradio reception.  The radio frequency setting code in tuner-simple now uses\nthis field, instead of a special case select() block for each tuner with radio\nsupport.\n\nThe tuner parameters for tuners that used a 33.3 MHz RIF now set radio_if to 1\nin tuner-types.c.\n\nThe Thomson DTT7612 gets radio_if \u003d 2, also add has_tda9887 \u003d 1 and\nfm_gain_normal \u003d 1.\n\nAdd some defines for tda9887 bits that control IF setting in radio mode.\n\nAdd a new tda9887 config option, TDA9887_RIF_41_3, that selects a 41.3 MHz\nradio IF.\n\nFix the way tda9887 radio options work.  The driver was modifying the default\nradio mode config templates based on the TDA9887_XXXX flags.  This means that\n_all_ tuners would get the same settings.  If you had a one tuner than used\nTDA9887_GAIN_NORMAL and one that didn\u0027t, both would get the setting. Prevents\n  that a radio tuner is initialized with a tv frequency or vice versa.\n- When switching to radio mode initialize the tuner with the last\n  used radio frequency (this was already done for the TV mode).\n  As a result of these changes the tuner module now remembers the\n  last set radio and TV frequencies, which is what you would expect\n  to happen.\n- Move out of range frequencies to the closest valid frequency as per\n  v4l2 API spec.\n- Fix incorrect initial radio frequency (multiplier is 16000, not 16)\n- Add boundary check for out of range frequencies.\n- Use new flag to check if the order of the CB and freq. depends on\n  the last set frequency. That is needed for some tuners or you can\n  get static as a result.       "message": "[PATCH] tuner-core.c improvments and Ymec Tvision TVF8533MF support\n\ntuner-core.c, tuner.h:\n\n- tuner-core changed to support multiple I2C devices used on some\n  adapters;\n\n- Kconfig now has an option (CONFIG_TUNER_MULTI_I2C) to enable this new\n  behavor;\n\n- By default, even enabling CONFIG_TUNER_MULTI_I2C, tuner-core emulates\n  the old behavor, using first I2C device for both FM and TV;\n\n- There is a new i2c command (TUNER_SET_ADDR) to allow tuner clients to\n  select I2C address for FM or TV tuner;\n\n- Tuner I2C dettach now generates a warning on syslog if failed.\n\ntuner-simple.c:\n\n- TVision TVF-8531MF and TVF-5533 MF tuner included.  It uses, by\n  default, I2C on 0xC2 address for TV and on 0xC0 for Radio.
