      "message": "ext3: Wait for proper transaction commit on fsync\n\nWe cannot rely on buffer dirty bits during fsync because pdflush can come\nbefore fsync is called and clear dirty bits without forcing a transaction\ncommit. Thus file data could be just in disk\ncaches and not on persistent storage.       "message": "ext3: fdatasync should skip metadata writeout when overwriting\n\nCurrently fdatasync is identical to fsync in ext3.\n\nI think fdatasync should skip journal flush in data\u003dordered and\ndata\u003dwriteback mode when it overwrites to already-instantiated blocks on\nHDD.
