"message": "ASoC: WCD9310: Fix issues with headset detection\n\nAfter inserting and removing a headset many times during\na recording or playback, sometimes the last headset removal\nevent is not detected by the MBHC driver. This is because\nturning on the microphone bias used for MBHC can cause the\nhardware to go into an unknown state. Restarting the\nhardware state machine after enabling the microphone bias\nallows the state machine to recover.\n\nSometimes, the button release handler is triggered even\nthough there is no headset inserted. This happens because\nthe button release interrupt is not masked when the\nheadset is removed. By only unmasking the button release\ninterrupt when a headset is inserted, the button release\nhandler is only triggered when a button is actually\nreleased. The button release interrupt cannot be unmasked\nin the button press interrupt handler, because it is\nlikely that the release event could be missed due to its\ninterrupt being masked when the button was actually\nreleased. This problem causes kernel warnings due to\nunbalanced enabling of interrupts.\n\nSigned-off-by: Brad Rubin \u003cbrubin@codeaurora.org\u003e\n"
