And consequently there most modern Laptops cannot resume\nproperly without it.\n\nAccording to the spec, we should call \u0027_GTM\u0027 (Get Timing) upon suspend\nto store the current IDE adapter settings.\nUpon resume we should call \u0027_STM\u0027 (Set Timing) to initialize the\nadapter with the stored settings; afterwards \u0027_GTF\u0027 (Get Taskfile)\nshould be called which returns a buffer with some IDE initialisation\ncommands.
