      "message": "[MIPS] SMTC: Interrupt mask backstop hack\n\nTo support multiple TC microthreads acting as \"CPUs\" within a VPE,\nVPE-wide interrupt mask bits must be specially manipulated during\ninterrupt handling. To support legacy drivers and interrupt controller\nmanagement code, SMTC has a \"backstop\" to track and if necessary restore\nthe interrupt mask.
