      "message": "Documentation: update broken web addresses.\n\nBelow you will find an updated version from the original series bunching all patches into one big patch\nupdating broken web addresses that are located in Documentation/*\nSome of the addresses date as far far back as 1995 etc... so searching became a bit difficult,\nthe best way to deal with these is to use web.archive.org to locate these addresses that are outdated.\nNow there are also some addresses pointing to .spec files some are located, but some(after searching\non the companies site)where still no where to be found.       "message": "Subject: [PATCH 1/2] serial: Add flush_buffer() operation to uart_ops\n\nSerial drivers using DMA (like the atmel_serial driver) tend to get very\nconfused when the xmit buffer is flushed and nobody told them.  They\nalso tend to spew a lot of garbage since the DMA engine keeps running\nafter the buffer is flushed and possibly refilled with unrelated data.\n\nThis patch adds a new flush_buffer operation to the uart_ops struct,\nalong with a call to it from uart_flush_buffer() right after the xmit\nbuffer has been cleared.
