      "message": "[PATCH] changing CONFIG_LOCALVERSION rebuilds too much, for no good reason\n\nThis patch removes almost all inclusions of linux/version.h.  The 3\n#defines are unused in most of the touched files.\n\nA few drivers use the simple KERNEL_VERSION(a,b,c) macro, which is\nunfortunatly in linux/version.h.\n\nThere are also lots of #ifdef for long obsolete kernels, this was not\ntouched.       "message": "[PATCH] DRIVER MODEL: Get rid of the obsolete tri-level suspend/resume callbacks\n\nIn PM v1, all devices were called at SUSPEND_DISABLE level.  Then\nall devices were called at SUSPEND_SAVE_STATE level, and finally\nSUSPEND_POWER_DOWN level.  However, with PM v2, to maintain\ncompatibility for platform devices, I arranged for the PM v2\nsuspend/resume callbacks to call the old PM v1 suspend/resume\ncallbacks three times with each level in order so that existing\ndrivers continued to work.\n\nSince this is obsolete infrastructure which is no longer necessary,\nwe can remove it.
