"message": "EHCI: HSIC: Fix a race between root hub resume and controller removal\n\nThe pm_qos request is removed before unregistering the HCD in remove\nfunction. If root hub resume runs in parallel, there is a possibility\nof adding the pm_qos request back to the active list. The pm_qos request\nmemory is freed after unregistering the HCD and this would lead to\npm_qos list corruption. A crash is observed when another driver is\nsubmitting a pm_qos request after HSIC controller is removed during\nshutdown. Remove HCD prior to releasing controller resources.\n\nCRs-Fixed: 444928\nChange-Id: Iaed6964e7d4245b8ae6c295ed6c76f5a9d32e20f\nSigned-off-by: Pavankumar Kondeti \u003cpkondeti@codeaurora.org\u003e\n"

"message": "msm: mdm: do not assert ap2mdm_errfatal gpio in some cases during SSR\n\nSome platforms have the ap2mdm_errfatal line shared between\ntwo external modems. Current implementation is to assert that\ngpio during the SSR shutdown callback but that does not allow\nfor independent restart of each modem. On most platforms it is\nactually not necessary to assert the ap2mdm_errfatal during\nrestart of the mdm. It is necessary during kernel panic of the\napps processor but that is already done in the panic handler.\nThe use case where it is necessary to assert the errfatal gpio\nis where the mdm needs to be restarted by the SSR module, for\nexample on platforms where the internal and external modems need\nto be restarted together.
