At one point, a patch I seriously considered applying\nfrom Michael Tokarev did a \"strcmp()\" to see if it was automount that\nwas doing the operation. Ugly, ugly.\n\nHowever, a prettier solution exists now thanks to the packetized pipe\nmode.
