      "message": "[PATCH] i2o: remove new configuration API\n\nRemove new configuration API from i2o_config\n\nThe API-patch is still available from the I2O website (which is mentioned in\nthe kernel config now).  It is removed because it creates a new binary\nsysfs-attribute, which doesn\u0027t have the limitiation of 4k.  Expect for the\nAdaptec controllers, which has a limitation in the hardware this attribute\ndoesn\u0027t make sense anywhere else. We can create a separate \"historical\" git\narchive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it\u0027s about\n3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early\ngit days unnecessarily complicated, when we don\u0027t have a lot of good\ninfrastructure for it.\n\nLet it rip!\n"
